Clinical updates
This issue includes two articles looking at aspects of diagnostic radiology. One paper discusses the place of CT angiography and the contribution of multidetector CT to the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism. This complements the paper on nuclear medicine techniques published in Volume III, Issue 1. The review of the diagnosis of acute stroke addresses the relative roles of CT and MRI. We will be following up this article with a paper on the place of interventional radiology in acute stroke in 2006.

Readers' views
In this issue, we also report on the results of a questionnaire designed to gain insight into readers' perceptions of C2I2 and the topics that they would like to see covered. The results showed that C2I2 is well received and that most respondents consider that the papers are pitched at the right level. A number of interesting proposals were made for future papers. Papers on some of these topics have already been commissioned for future issues and the Editorial Board will be considering how to include others in 2006. The Editorial Board values all suggestions and opinions from the readers of C2I2 and would like to thank all those who responded to the questionnaire.
